Conceptual design and project management of internet presence,
commissioned by dialogue marketing agency Lehr & Brose of Hamburg.
The activity site www.qe2.de was created for shipping company Cunard Line Ltd in July 1998. The overriding priority here was to ensure a user-friendly experience for older age groups. The site's central theme was the visit of the cruise liner Queen Elizabeth II to Hamburg. Exclusive features and dialogue elements support(ed) both the nature of the event and created a permanent record of it. These features included video on demand, interviews, and a lottery game - featuring passage across the Atlantic as a prize - together with a greeting card activity which creates photo-postcards of visitors and guests and mounts them on the net.
