    Installation
for the art and exhibition project "Praxis Dr. McCoy", 1992
    Material:
Welded metal structure with polished sheet metal welded on to it, various pneumatic cylinders, electronic control.

Movement detectors set the pneumatically driven cylinders in motion, which are placed on the metal structure of both pieces and move individual parts of two 3m high figures by means of joints. The motion of the cylinders is controlled electronically to determine the various cycles of movement. The piece was also displayed in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin at the exhibition "In the tradition of modernity: humans and machines" to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the IG Metall union.

Artists taking part in this exhibition included Fischli & Weiss, Marie-Jo Lafontaine, Raffael Rheinsberg, Nicolas Baginsky and BBM.
